Vincent Madera, MSW, Program Director for Permanency Supports, The Children's Village (NY) 

BBI has partnered with The Children’s Village and their leaders, including Vincent, to support states and residential programs around the country, specific to residential transformation, including their innovative strategies for engaging families and aftercare.  Vincent has served The Children’s Village since 2009, starting as an assistant manager in the Residential Treatment Center during that year and today serving as the Program Director of Permanency Supports overseeing the family finding and aftercare programs at Children’s Village. Mr. Madera has traveled nationally to preset his success in finding families for some of the loneliest children in care. He promotes family engagement as best practice and dedicates himself in making sure it is being practiced system wide. Mr. Madera obtained his master’s degree in Social work from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.
