Option A:

Building A Family-Driven and Youth-Driven System of Care

Presenters: Carol Cecil and Dyzz Cooper

This session will focus on the true meaning of a family and youth-driven System of Care. The presenters will explain Hart's Ladder of Involvement and will provide basic steps on where to start. As with all paradigm shifts, we take just one step at a time! Take that first step!


Option B:

Beyond Certification and Compliance: Using the CANS to Engage and Support Children and Families

Presenters: Lizzie Minton and Kenneth McGill

CEU: 2

The Child Adolescent Needs and Strengths Assessment (CANS) is an assessment tool used to support decision making on many different levels, including individual, family, supervision and system wide. This session will focus on strategies clinicians can use to engage children and families and implement a shared vision approach.

Establishing Contact Points to Strategically Identify the Presence of Racial and Ethnic Disparities

This session will describe how participants can establish key decision or contact points within their programs to effectively analyze data and identify the presence of racial and ethnic disparities. The session will share examples and lessons learned, as well as key next steps to strategically reduce racial and ethnic disparities.
